Round 3 – Davis Chatfield leads at Korn Ferry
Tulum, Mexico, May 4: Davis Chatfield posted a third consecutive 3-under 69 to take a two-shot lead over Kensei Hirata (65) in the Tulum Championship at PGA Riviera Maya on the Korn Ferry Tour.
The 36-hole co-leader Shad Tuten (65), stands inside the top five through 54 holes for the first time since 2023. He is now third.
India’s Rathan Thomas had missed the cut with 77-73.

Round 2 – Rayhan Thomas misses cut in Mexico
Tulum, Mexico, May 3: Rayhan Thomas missed another cut, as four bogeys on back nine spelt disaster for him at the Tulum Championship at PGA Riviera Maya in Mexico. Thomas, who has now missed six cuts in 10 starts, shot 77-73 in the first two rounds.
Thomas had two birdies and a bogey on the front nine and followed that up with four bogeys against two birdies for a 1-over 73.
Four players shared the lead at the 6-under after two rounds. They were Davis Chatfield (69-69), Shad Tuten (69-69), Bryson Nimmer (71-67) and Zach Bauchou (67-71). They were all at 6-under.
The 36-hole cut was made at 3-over 147 – the highest 36-hole cut on Tour this season
Round 1 – Rough start for Rayhan Thomas
Tulum, Mexico, May 2: It was another rough start for India’s Rayhan Thomas, who carded 5-over 77 and was in danger of missing the cut at the Tulum Championship at PGA Riviera Maya. He was lying Tied-124th.
In nine starts prior to this week, Thomas has made four cuts with a best of T-7 in Bahamas Great Abaco Classic.
Mitchell Meissner opened with a first-round 6-under 66 to lead by one. He had seven birdies and one bogey. He has three top-10 finishes in nine starts this season, including a T7 finish at last week’s Veritex Bank Championship.
Zach Bauchou is second at 5-under, while rookie Kensei Hirata, a six-time winner on Japan Tour carded 4-under, to be third.
Runchanapong Youprayong (3-under), a winner on the All Thailand Golf Tour, recorded a 3-under 69 and was Tied-fourth in a group of nine player.
