Houston, Texas, Nov 14: Anirban Lahiri needing to play his last eight holes at least 2-under failed to do so and missed the cut at the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Houston Open.
After a disappointing first day, when he was even par with 15 pars in a row before dropping two shots, Lahiri had one bogey in 10 holes in the second round when play was suspended due to darkness. When play stopped Lahiri was 3-over through 28 holes and needed at least two birdies in last eight holes to have a chance of making the cut.
He had just one bogey, on Par-5 16th and no bogeys, and missed out on the weekend.
Martin Trainer was leading the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Houston Open at halfway.
Four-time major champion Brooks Koepka missed for the second straight week. He shot 71-72 to be 3-over.
The second round belonged to Scottie Scheffler, who had a 62 and was in the group four shots behind that included fellow Texas Longhorn Kramer Hickok.
