One of the India’s premier players, Rashid Khan has been. hugely successful on the Indian Domestic Tour. He has finished on Top of the Tata Steel Order of Merit three times – in 2013, 2016 and 2019. He was also second in 2012.

Since turning pro in late 2010, he has won 11 times on the Indian Tour. His first pro win came in April, 2011 at the Surya Nepal Masters, which was part of the Indian Tour.

As an amateur, Rashid Khan played for the Indian team at numerous international events, and was part of the Indian team that silver medal at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China. His teammates were Abhijit Chadha, Abhinav Lohan and Rahul Bajaj.

In the individual section, he tied for fourth and missed a medal by two shots. Among those finishing behind him was Japan’s Satoshi Kodaira (T7), who has since won on the PGA Tour (RBC Heritage 2018) and seven times on Japan Tour.

In 2020, before the Tokyo Olympics were postponed, Rashid was India’s top professional and would have been India’s top entry for the Olympics.

Rashid Khan joined the Asian Tour in 2012 and won twice inn 2014. He has not won since then on Asian Tour. He also has three runner-up finishes and two other third places.

As an amateur Rashid also won the Faldo Series Asia title (2007-08 and 2008-09) and was the National Junior Champion in 2006 and 2008 and runner-up in 2007.
